Look at that, we have almost come to the end of another year, and what a year it was. I am sat here trying to come up with some witty observations that will sum up the past year in a few short lines but I am stumped for inspiration. I mean sure; we got a dog, I did some laundry, my kid graduated, I sold some houses, made many lunches, sold a few more houses, did more laundry, had some laughs, went camping, helped the seniors, volunteered at soccer, baked cookies, met some great new people and vacuumed a LOT of dog hair but then…I have not conquered the ironing pile, organized my basement, figured out how to upload new information to my website, inspire ten minutes of pleasant conversation between my children, come up with more than one recipe for leftover ham hock, find time to read more, run more, talk with my kids more…you know, the usual.

Which, I guess, just means I have my work cut out for me for next year!

Thank you Everyone for your continued support this year in my business and my life. I just realised lately that much of what keeps me so happily attached to all of you is humour. I want to say, that I so appreciate our comic connection that seems to bind us over all else. I love our ability to appreciate the absurd and I know sometimes I would definitely not make it through my day were it not for the laughs that I share with my family and friends through your calls and emails. I will leave you with this (sorry, it’s not mine, I am working on my own inspirational quote, maybe next year). This one is from Ellen DeGeneres and it perfectly sums up my wish for you all in 2018.

Follow your passion, stay true to yourself, never follow someone else’s path unless you’re in the woods and you’re lost and you see a path then by all means you should follow that.
